【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthesafetyrequirementsandtheirverificationforthedesignandconstructionofbackpackpowerunitsincorporatingacombustionengineasapowersourcetopowerbrush-cutters,grass-trimmers,pole-cuttersandsimilarappliances.Itdescribesmethodsfortheeliminationorreductionofhazardsarisingfromtheuseofthebackpackpowerunits,butdoesnotcoverhazardsresultingfromtheuseoftheattachedappliance.ThereforethisInternationalStandardcannotbeusedalonefortheassessmentofthemachinesafetyaspectsforamachinewithabackpackpowerunit,andmustonlyserveasareferenceforspecificationsconcerningthebackpackpowerunititself.Itdoesnotspecifyanytechnicalrequirementstoreducenoiseandwholebodyvibrationhazards.Indeedthedifferentmeansavailabletoreducethesehazardsareamatterforthetechnicalaidstowhichthemanufacturermayresort,throughspecializedbooksorspecificbodies.NOTE—Anagreedmethodtomeasurewholebodyvibrationfromthebackpackpowerunitispresentlynotavailable.ThelistofsignificanthazardsrequiringactiontoreducetheriskisgiveninannexA.EnvironmentalaspectshavenotbeenconsideredinthisInternationalStandard.
