【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesaprocedurefortheregistrationofcodingsystemsusedinhealthforanypurpose.ItalsospecifiestheallocationofauniqueHealthCodingSystemDesignatortoeachregisteredcodingsystem.AcodevaluecanthusbegivenanunambiguousmeaningbyassociationwithaHCD.ThemethodbywhichaHCDandacodevalueareassociatedisnotdefinedbythisEuropeanStandard.Theassociationisachievedinanymannerappropriatetothesyntaxused.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotspecifythecodingsystemstobeusedinhealth,giveguidanceontheirselectionnordescribemethodsofrepresentinginformationincodedform.CodingsystemsmaintainedbydifferentResponsibleOrganisationsmayalsobeusedincombinations.Suchcombinationscanbeconsideredastemplates,andassuchtheylieoutsidethescopeofthecurrentdocument.
