【摘要】:TestMethodD3106fortestingpermanentdeformationofelastomericyarnsisconsideredsatisfactoryforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentswhenthereisprioragreementastotheexactvalueofelongationtobeusedfortesting,sincecurrentestimatesofbetween-laboratoryprecisionareacceptable.5.1.1Iftherearedifferencesorpracticalsignificancebetweenreportedtestresultsfortwolaboratories(ormore)comparativetestsshouldbeperformedtodetermineifthereisastatisticalbiasbetweenthem,usingcompetentstatisticalassistance.Asaminimum,testsamplesthatareashomogeneousaspossible,drawnfromthematerialfromwhichthedisparatetestresultswereobtained,andrandomlyassignedinequalnumberstoeachlaboratoryfortesting.Thetestresultsfromthetwolaboratoriesshouldbecomparedusingastatisticaltestforunpaireddata,ataprobabilitylevelchosenpriortothetestingseries.Ifbiasisfound,eitheritscausemustbefoundandcorrected,orfuturetestresultsforthatmaterialmustbeadjustedinconsiderationoftheknownbias.Yarnsaresubjectedtolongperiodsoftensionresultinginanappreciableamountofstretchduringnormaluse.Aportionoftheinducedstretchmaybepermanent.Theamountofpermanentdeformationisinfluencedbytheamountoftension,thetimetheyarnisundertensionandthetimeavailableforrecoverybetweensuccessiveuses.Foroptimumprocessingofelastomericyarns,thepermanentdeformationvalueshouldbeloworzero.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthepermanentdeformationofbare,continuouselastomericmonofilamentsandfilamentyarnsmadefromrubber,spandex,anidex,orotherelastomerssubjectedtoprolongedperiodsoftension.Thistestmethodisapplicabletoelastomericyarnshavingalineardensityintherangefrom4to320tex(36to2900den.).1.2Thistestmethodisnotapplicabletocovered,wrapped,core-spunyarns,oryarnsspunfromelastomericstaple.1.3Thistestmethodwasdevelopedusingyarnsinthe"as-received"condition,butmaybeusedfortreatedyarnsprovidedthetreatmentisspecified.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:TheobjectoftheseRecommendationsistorationalizethepresentationofdataonthepropertiesofplasticsmaterialsforuseinthefieldofdesignengineering.Theinformationavailableatpresentisusuallybasedontheresultsoftestsdesignedforqualitycontrolandisthereforeofrestrictedvaluetothedesigner.ForqualitycontrolpurposesithasgenerallybeensufficienttomeasureasinglevalueofagivenpropertyundercloselydefinedtestconditionsandthetestproceduresgiveninBritishandothernationalstandardsusuallyindicateonlya'singlepoint'value.Ontheotherhand,satisfactoryengineeringdesignneedstobebasedoninformationcoveringboththemagnitudeandtrendsinthepropertiesofmaterialsunderconditionssimulatingthoseexperiencedinpractice.Plasticsaremoresensitivethanmanymaterialstoenvironmentalchanges,andtheirpropertiesmayvarywidelywithtemperature,humidityandotherserviceconditions,andwithtime.Moreover,theperformanceofplasticsarticlesisusuallymarkedlyaffectedbythemethodandconditionsoftheirmanufacture.Therefore,topredicttheirlikelybehaviourinserviceitisnecessarytohavea'field'or'spectrum'ofinformationshowinghowapropertychangeswithtime,temperatureandtheotherimportantvariables.
