【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodforassessingtheinhibitoryeffectofatestmaterialontheoxygenconsumptionofactivatedsludgemicroorganisms.Thismethodisintendedtorepresenttheconditionsinbiologicalwaste-watertreatmentplants.Itgivesinformationoninhibitoryorstimulatoryeffectsafterashortexposure(usually30minupto180minorevenmore)ofthetestmaterialonactivatedsludgemicroorganisms.Thismethodisapplicablefortestingwaters,wastewaters,purechemicalsandmixturesofchemicals.Concerningthechemicals,themethodreferstothosewhicharesolubleunderthetestconditions.Specialcareisnecessarywithmaterialsoflowwatersolubility,highvolatilityandwithmaterialsabioticallyconsumingorproducingoxygen.
